COVID-19 Incubation Period
The incubation period is the time period from the contract or exposure with a virus to the development of COVID-19 symptoms start. The incubation period of the coronavirus is expected to be between 2 and 14 days based on the following references:
- According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the incubation period for COVID-19 is 2 to 10 days.
- As per China’s National Health Commission (NHC), the incubation period is 10 to 14 days.
- According to The United States CDC estimates the incubation period for COVID-19 is 2 to 14 days.
COVID-19 Symptoms
There are two common cold syndromes observed after the coronavirus infection:
- Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS)
- The Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS).

All ages people can be infected by the coronavirus. Older adults and any people who have severe underlying medical conditions like

- Lung disease
- Diabetes seems
- Asthma
- Cancer that requires treatment
- Kidney disease
- Liver disease
They are to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 illness.
