What are the COVID-19 Symptoms?

The most common Covid-19 symptoms are fever, tiredness and a dry cough. These COVID-19 symptoms may appear between the incubation period.

COVID-19 Incubation Period

The incubation period is the time period from the contract or exposure with a virus to the development of COVID-19 symptoms start. The incubation period of the coronavirus is expected to be between 2 and 14 days based on the following references:

  • According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the incubation period for COVID-19 is 2 to 10 days.
  • As per China’s National Health Commission (NHC), the incubation period is 10 to 14 days.
  • According to The United States CDC estimates the incubation period for COVID-19 is 2 to 14 days.

COVID-19 Symptoms

There are two common cold syndromes observed after the coronavirus infection:

  • Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS)
  • The Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS).

The following COVID-19 symptoms may appear between 2 to 14 days after coronavirus exposure. According to the WHO, the most common Covid-19 symptoms are fever, tiredness and a dry cough.

  • A low-grade fever that gradually increases in temperature
  • Dry cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle pain
  • Sore throat

  • Difficulty breathing
  • Pneumonia in both lungs
  • Chest tightness
  • Blue lips or face

All ages people can be infected by the coronavirus. Older adults and any people who have severe underlying medical conditions like

  • Heart diseases
  • Lung disease
  • Diabetes seems
  • Asthma
  • Cancer that requires treatment
  • Kidney disease
  • Liver disease

They are to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 illness.
