Currently we have Urgent opening for Assistant Manager position in Business Development department for a rapid-growing contract research organization based out of Hyderabad.
Job Responsibilities:
Sales & BD:
· The candidate should be able to operate and contribute to this role from the start and must have handled a similar role previously.
· Must have met or exceeded the revenue targets previously and must be conversant with the sales cycle in the pharmaceutical services industry.
· Must support the BD team develop and spread its reach to new territories, egs. Europe and tier-2 territories in the US.
· Providing list of new companies from Europe and US. Generating database of companies on his/her own and also with the help of the team.
· Sending introductory emails and scheduling cold calls.
· Scheduling follow-up calls for the team and meetings for business trips.
· Coordination in between other Cross Functional Teams (CFTs), delivery teams and BD team.
· Managing trade shows and conferences, etc. handling client visits.
· Quarterly budget and review presentations
Marketing & branding:
· Must be able to provide insights on market intelligence by following focused newsletters.
· Gathering focused competitive intelligence: key updates on competitor websites, LinkedIn, social media handles, etc. to refine our approach.
Educational Background:
Science graduate (B.Sc., B. Pharm, etc.) with an MBA from tier-II or tier-III colleges.
Job Location: Hyderabad.
Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in CRO industry.
- Basic to advanced level technical skills.
- Expert level analytical & people skills.
- Must be expert at Microsoft office tools.
