Cogneo Consultency services is looking for an experienced QC HEAD – Technical / Technical Manager to lead the complete technical operations of Food & Pharmaceutical Testing Laboratories under ISO/IEC 17025:2025.

🔬 Key Responsibilities for QC HEAD
- Act as the final technical authority for Food & Pharma testing laboratories
- Lead and defend NABL audits and regulatory assessments
- Own scope approval, maintenance and expansion
- Oversee method validation, verification and method transfers
- Review deviations, investigations, CAPA and technical risk assessments
- Drive data integrity and technical compliance
- Harmonize technical practices across multiple laboratory sections
- Mentor Section Heads and Senior Analysts
- Present technical performance, risks and improvement plans to senior management
🎯 Mandatory Experience
Candidates should have strong experience in most of the following:
✅ Leadership of Food and/or Pharmaceutical Testing Laboratories under ISO/IEC 17025
✅ Wide-scope laboratory operations
✅ NABL audit-facing experience
✅ Scope expansion and technical risk management
✅ Method validation across multiple analytical techniques
✅ Multi-section / multi-instrument laboratory management
✅ Strong understanding of laboratory quality systems and data integrity
🧪 Technical Expertise – Advantage
Experience with:
- LC-MS/MS
- GC-MS
- ICP-MS
- HPLC
Food testing exposure may include pesticides, antibiotics, veterinary drugs, mycotoxins, contaminants and additives.
Pharma testing exposure may include impurities, nitrosamines, residual solvents and elemental impurities.
👤 Who Can Apply?
Profile A – Third-Party Testing Laboratory Leader (Preferred)
Senior technical leaders from Food/Pharma testing laboratories with strong ISO/IEC 17025 knowledge and experience managing multi-section laboratories.
Profile B – Senior Pharma Technical Leader
Experienced Pharma Analytical/QC professionals with strong knowledge of method validation, data integrity, audit trails and USFDA/EMA/CDSCO expectations, who can transition into a third-party testing environment.
💻 Communication & Computer Skills – Mandatory
This is an audit-facing leadership position.
Candidates must have:
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Confidence in technical discussions with NABL assessors, regulators, clients and senior management
- Strong computer literacy
- Hands-on experience with LIMS / QMS
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel
- Ability to independently prepare technical reports, presentations and documentation using MS Word & PowerPoint
